#1 PPF Installers in Toronto and GTA. ID Protection provides professional Toronto PPF installation services, offering full-body and partial Paint Protection Film packages, interior PPF solutions, and expert car paint protection for drivers throughout Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
At ID Protection, the cost of paint protection film (PPF) installation in the Toronto area typically ranges from $850 to $6,000, depending on a few important factors. Pricing varies based on your vehicle’s size, the level of coverage you choose (partial panels vs. full-body protection), the type of premium PPF film used, and the amount of material required to complete the job.
For many vehicle owners, PPF is a long-term investment that pays off. It helps preserve the factory paint finish, reduces the risk of rock chips and surface damage, and keeps your vehicle looking newer for longer, especially in Ontario’s changing road and weather conditions.
If you’re located in Toronto or surrounding areas including Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Aurora, Newmarket, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Caledon, and nearby communities, our team is ready to help you find the right solution for your vehicle.

When properly installed and maintained in our Toronto PPF installation studio, paint protection film for a car can last for 10 years or more. The key to maximizing the durability of PPF film is to avoid using car care products that contain petroleum or solvents. These substances will damage the top “self-healing” layer that returns PPF to its original shape after being hit by flying debris from the road.

Yes, paint protection film can be removed. The PPF film must first be warmed up before being pulled off at a 90-degree angle using a unique process. However, it is strongly advised to have the PPF removal done in a licensed facility where you may have the automobile detailed to completely remove any small residues left from paint protection film.
At our Toronto PPF installation studio, the difference between Partial Front, Full Front, and Full Vehicle PPF coverage comes down to how much of your vehicle’s painted surfaces you want protected from rock chips, scratches, road debris, salt, and daily wear.
Partial Front PPF is the entry-level option and covers the highest-impact areas: the full front bumper, headlights, mirrors, partial hood, and partial fenders, ideal if you want affordable protection for the most vulnerable zones.
Full Front PPF offers more comprehensive front-end protection with a cleaner, more seamless finish. At ID Protection, it includes the full front bumper, headlights, mirrors, full hood, full fenders, plus added high-contact areas like door steps, A-pillars, roofline, rear bumper top edge, and under door handles, making it our most popular PPF package for
Full Vehicle PPF coverage is the ultimate paint protection solution: a complete wrap that shields the entire exterior “top to bottom,” giving maximum defense and long-term paint preservation.
Here is exactly what a PPF install looks like at our Toronto studio, start to finish.
Drop-off and walkaround.
Most people book the day before and drop the car in the morning. Kiril or a lead installer walks around it with you, notes any existing chips or swirls, and confirms the panels and the fixed price from your written quote. The number does not change on the day.
Decontamination and prep.
Before any film touches the car, we wash and decontaminate the paint, then clay and inspect every panel under the shop lighting. This is the step a chips-in-a-hurry shop rushes. Trapped dirt is what causes bubbles and lifting edges months later, so we do not skip it.
Hand-cut and fit.
We pattern the film to your exact make and model, then hand-cut and wrap each edge, tucking it into the panel gaps so there is no visible line. Same standard whether it is a full-body wrap and decals on a Porsche GT3 RS or a full front on a 2026 Tesla Model Y.
Cure and pickup.
The film needs time to set. Most full-front jobs are ready the next day; a full-vehicle wrap takes about three days. We give you the pickup time up front and the car is ready when we say it will be.
Free follow-up inspection.
About a week later, after you have washed it once, we book you back for a no-charge inspection to check every edge and fix anything small. Jahmar (2025 Mazda CX-30) called this the part that gave him peace of mind.
Aftercare.
Wait 48 hours before the first wash and avoid petroleum or solvent-based cleaners, which attack the self-healing top layer. Done right, the film stays clear for years, backed by up to a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
Yes, at ID Protection PPF Installation Studio in Toronto and the GTA, you can build a custom Paint Protection Film (PPF) package instead of choosing only a preset option. While Partial Front and Full Front are popular options, ID Protection also offers partial PPF coverage, allowing you to choose exactly which panels you want protected based on how and where you drive. Partial PPF is a cost-effective way to protect your investment because you can choose the most vulnerable areas to cover, while still getting the benefits of premium PPF installation, including protection from rock chips, scratches, UV exposure, and road debris. Common custom areas include fenders, pillars, mirrors, door cups, cargo lip, roof, hood, headlights, and bumpers, so you can create a tailored plan that matches your vehicle’s needs and budget.
Yes, we perform surface preparation before installing PPF, because proper prep is essential for a clean finish and long-lasting adhesion. Our process begins with a thorough cleaning and inspection of your vehicle’s paint, carefully removing contaminants to ensure a flawless surface before installing the PPF. This prep step helps prevent issues like trapped debris, bubbling, or imperfect edges, so your PPF installation looks smooth and performs at its best. Once the surface is ready, our Toronto PPF installers apply the film using professional techniques (including hand-cut and pre-cut methods) to match the vehicle precisely for invisible protection. If you want premium paint protection film installation in Toronto, ID Protection emphasizes prep and precision as key steps for the highest-quality results.

ID Protection is led by Kiril, one of the most experienced PPF installers in the field. He has installed paint protection film on cars around the world, from Miami to Toronto, and runs our Toronto studio hands-on, personally leading the most demanding PPF installations himself. Since 2015, our team has installed PPF and protected more than 10,000 vehicles.
The cars we are known for
Owners bring us their best cars, and Porsche is where the craft really shows. We have installed PPF on the 911 GT3 RS, 718 Spyder, Carrera T, Taycan, Cayenne and Macan GTS, cars whose panels, curves and tight seams are genuinely hard to cover with PPF with no visible edges. Alongside them we regularly install PPF on the Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG (GLE 53 and up), BMW M cars and the X5 and X6, Audi RS including the RS Q8, Range Rover and Land Rover Defender, and the full Tesla lineup from Model 3 and Model Y to the Model S Plaid, Model X and Cybertruck. Full-body builds like our Porsche 718 Spyder are up on our YouTube channel.
Volume without cutting corners
Our studio is built to handle 5 to 10 cars at once, so we take on real volume while giving every car full attention. Across our PPF installers we bring 50+ years of combined experience, which is why complex, multi-day full-body PPF installations run on schedule instead of tying up the shop.
What we install, and what backs it
We install every major professional PPF car film, STEK, LLumar, 3M, Protek and Legend, and are an authorized STEK installer. Beyond clear PPF we do coloured and matte PPF, chrome delete and full-body colour changes, all backed by a manufacturer warranty of up to 10 years against yellowing, cracking and peeling.
Rated by the people who matter
TheWe do not call ourselves the best, our customers do. ID Protection holds a 4.9 rating on Google from real car owners, and our step-by-step install videos on YouTube (Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes and Tesla) show the actual work, not a highlight reel. The proof is out in the open, on your terms, not ours.
Where PPF fits, and where it does not. We will tell you straight. On a new car, full-front or full-vehicle PPF is the highest-value time to do it. If your paint already has deep chips, film will not hide existing damage, and we will say so. And if you mainly want gloss and easy washing rather than chip protection, we will point you to ceramic coating instead of selling you PPF film you do not need.
